Who we are

Averis Agency (ABN 84 551 712 996) is a partnership based in Adelaide, South Australia. It trades as Averis ("we", "us") and designs websites and runs paid advertising. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Most of what we hold comes from booking a call on our book a call page, from calls and emails, and from anything you send us while we work together. The booking calendar asks for your name, email address and phone number, and anything you choose to tell us about your business.

Bookings and payments

When you book a call, the calendar is run by Cal.com, and Cal.com holds the booking under its own privacy policy. If you pay us, the payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe — we never see or store them — and Stripe tells us your name, email address and what you paid.

How we use it

To reply to you, quote and deliver our services, invoice you, and keep in touch about work in progress. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses the Meta Pixel — a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It sets cookies and tells Meta when you open a page here and when you book a call or send us an enquiry, so we can measure whether our own advertising is working. It does not send Meta your name, your phone number, or anything you typed into the form. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta may match your visit to it.

You can stop this. Block cookies in your browser, use private browsing, or change your Meta ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences. The site works normally either way.

We run no other analytics of our own. If we add one, we will say so here first.

The booking calendar is different. The book a call page loads a calendar from Cal.com so you can pick a time. That is Cal.com’s own page shown inside ours, and it sets its own cookies — including Google, Meta, Twitter and PostHog ones. We don’t control it and we don’t receive that data. If you’d rather avoid it, skip the calendar and we’ll ring you instead.

Text messages. If you book a call we send your first name, the time and your mobile number to ClickSend, an Australian SMS provider, so they can text you a confirmation and a reminder an hour before. We keep a log of the number and whether it sent. Nothing else goes to them, and they don’t use it for anything of their own.

Third parties

A few services handle parts of this for us, each under its own privacy policy: Hostinger (hosting and email), Stripe (payments), Cal.com (call bookings), ClickSend (the text messages we send about your booking), and Facebook and Instagram (advertising). Fontshare serves the fonts on this site, so it sees your IP address when a page loads. We only share what's needed to deliver the work.

Storage and security

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable time afterwards. Anything tied to a payment we have to keep for five years, because Australian tax law requires it. Only the two of us have access to any of it, and we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Access and corrections

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@averis.com.au and we'll respond within two business days. Deleting means we remove you from our email and from the enquiry log on our server, apart from anything we are required to keep for tax.

If something goes wrong

If you think we have mishandled your information, email contact@averis.com.au and we will try to sort it out. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
